We Create Tees

Hello Friends,

We are grateful for Create Tees for this collaboration. These graphic shirts arrived just in time. The past week was full of blessings and full of challenges. These shirts reminded us of how much we love doing what we do. Everyday should be a challenge and we just have to take it one step at a time.

Style in the City

Hello Friends,

We had the privilege of getting featured in Vancouver Sun online and The Province newspaper for our Fall looks. Grateful for all these blessings we’ve been receiving. When Aleesha, Arts & Life Editor of The Province and Vancouver Sun reached out to us to get featured it just so happened that we were scheduled to do a shoot with Eric for a collab. She needed us to submit a photo with fall/winter appropriate outfit, what a perfect timing!

Train Tracks & Masks

Hello Friends,

Leather and Denim, the two things most people would definitely have in their closet. We loved how this train tracks go with our ragged looks. We played around with these couple masks that a cousin sent from Philippines. Also, found a cool alley to take more photos..and so we did.

Toque w/ Netting

October 19, 2015

Hi My Loves,

It has been a crazy October so far for me. Been out and about so I haven’t really been posting on my blog, haven’t even posted any photos…let’s be real..haven’t even clean my room. haha I have a lot of photos to post though..if only I just have more time. I need more time!!! aaahhh

Truth is…this man in the photo with me…he’s been making my birthday month unforgettable. 🙂 Everyday is just amazing. 1st day of October was a surpise pair of gym shorts and a bag of Mini Eggs chocolates! one of my faves! whoohoo #bestfiance. 2nd day, he went with me to Vancouver Fashion Week, went out after and danced the night away…well let’s just say we got home at 5:30am the next day.

Lips aren’t sealed: I love seeing friends in the industry during this time. I also like seeing different styles of fashionistas in shows like this. Everyone has their own style. Some dress up really over the top while others stay true to what they really are.

I believe that being yourself is what makes you stand out. Expressing yourself through clothes; I went with an Athletic Leisure look for that night. To add interest to my outfit, I added a toque with netting, that was my “look at me” piece.

Rock it once, Rock it twice, Rock it multiple times: I wear this toque when I feel like I want to be mysterious and unique.

Denim Overalls

September 21, 2015

Hi My Loves,

Just like that…my 2-week staycation will end tonight. It didn’t feel like a staycation I’ve been out everyday, it was definitely an everyday adventure in the city. Tiring but fun…then tomorrow, I’m back at work.

One of my escapades during my vacay was a night till morning adventure with friends in downtown wearing my overalls. Jumpers or Overalls has always been one of my fave, it is such a unique piece. It’s comfortable and easy to style.

I usually wear it all year round. I wear my studded sandals with it during spring/summer and my suede booties during fall/winter. Layering during the cold season is also another fun way of styling this overalls.

Lips aren’t sealed: There’s a lot of misconception when it comes to rompers, jumpsuit, jumpers, or overalls. Sometimes I hear people call jumpers, rompers. Jumpers may come in as a full length pants, shorts or skirts and is meant to be paired with a top. Jumpsuit or Rompers is a one piece garment and is usually worn alone. Rompers is a combined top and short while Jumpsuit is a combined top and trousers.

Rock it once, Rock it twice, Rock it multiple times: From Day to night look. Pairing it with a tee to get a casual day look or pair it with a lace top to get the chic night look.

Cullottes

September 10, 2015

Hi My Loves,

I usually try and publish my blog posts on Mondays but I haven’t posted anything for almost two months..so I randomly chose tonight to post something. 🙂

Summer just flew by…I’m sad. But rain and some cold wind isn’t that bad if you think of the opportunities of layering beautiful pieces together. I can wear my leather jacket again. Yay me!

This is how I welcome Fall! my matte “Stone” lipstick by MAC (everyone is asking me about this) with my fave look, white on white. I threw in my black booties and my leather jacket to complete my look. Black is so bold that it makes white stand out more. It makes such a good combination with white as well.

Lips aren’t sealed: I have this exact culottes in Black. I bought them in both colours because I loved it. At first, I thought I would look short in it because there’s too much fabric. I realized with some attitude and after hemming it, I can actually pull it off and look..a lil bit taller. haha I had to chop off about 5 inches off and with us shorties that’s how we can rock this culottes. We have to find the right length for us.

Rock it once, Rock it twice, Rock it multiple times: I wear my black ones at work all the time. I was also wearing the black culottes when we got scouted on Robson Street and won $50 for being a stylish couple. Read the article here.
