Style in the City

Hello Friends,

We had the privilege of getting featured in Vancouver Sun online and The Province newspaper for our Fall looks. Grateful for all these blessings we’ve been receiving. When Aleesha, Arts & Life Editor of The Province and Vancouver Sun reached out to us to get featured it just so happened that we were scheduled to do a shoot with Eric for a collab. She needed us to submit a photo with fall/winter appropriate outfit, what a perfect timing!

Toque w/ Netting

October 19, 2015

Hi My Loves,

It has been a crazy October so far for me. Been out and about so I haven’t really been posting on my blog, haven’t even posted any photos…let’s be real..haven’t even clean my room. haha I have a lot of photos to post though..if only I just have more time. I need more time!!! aaahhh

Truth is…this man in the photo with me…he’s been making my birthday month unforgettable. ūüôā Everyday is just amazing. 1st day of October was a surpise pair of gym shorts and a bag of Mini Eggs chocolates! one of my faves! whoohoo #bestfiance. 2nd day, he went with me to Vancouver Fashion Week, went out after and danced the night away…well let’s just say we got home at 5:30am the next day.

Lips aren’t sealed: I love seeing friends in the industry during this time. I also like seeing different styles of fashionistas in shows like this. Everyone has their own style. Some dress up really over the top while others stay true to what they really are.

I believe that being yourself is what makes you stand out. Expressing yourself through clothes; I went with an Athletic Leisure look for that night. To add interest to my outfit, I added a toque with netting, that was my “look at me” piece.

Rock it once, Rock it twice, Rock it multiple times: I wear this toque when I feel like I want to be mysterious and unique.

P.S. You don’t have to be InstaBroke just to post photos on InstaGram!

Distressed Jeans

June 16, 2015

Hi My Loves,

Distressed Jeans are mostly bleached, ripped,¬†and frayed to look like they’re excessively worn. They started around 60’s-70’s,¬†became a big hit in the late 80’s-early 90’s¬†and they just continued on after that. Nowadays, you can see some of these jeans in just about any styles:¬†Skinnies, Straight, Bootcut and even with shorts and jean jackets.

Lips aren’t sealed:¬†This jeans can cost up to $600 depending on the brand you choose. If you’re on a budget…ripped them yourself¬†ūüôā All you need is your old pair of pants¬†and a¬†pair of scissors. Cut them wherever you like and¬†rub the cut area. For a better fray put them in the washer and dryer.

Rock it once, Rock it twice, Rock it multiple times: Style it with blazer and Ankle boots to make it Chic or Style it with a loose shirt and sneakers to make it Urban.

P.S.¬†You don’t have to be InstaBroke just to post¬†photos on InstaGram!
